how it began..
sourpopave.com originally started sometime in 2006 out of boredness. my first myspace resource site was called the shit lytsz. yeahh a really dumb name.lol i had that site for about 3 to four months i think. then one day i was gonna logg in to my email account, and i had totally forgotten the password and everything, well i was pretty dumb then, i thought because of that my site was gonna get deleted.lol so a few days after that i decided to just create another myspace and i named it the same. my site name wasnt creative at all! so i started thinking of new ones, but none of the names that i thought of, i liked so bleehhhhh i gave up and went on with the site. one day my mom sent me to the store and get some stuff for her room, so i went. the day was kinda hot so i stopped by another store to buy some ice cream on my way home, i had gotten a sour pop (cause they're one of my favorite taste's) til then i still hadnt think of a new name, i was away from all the internet stuff so. i kept on looking at my ice cream and just savoring the flavor and bammm i told myself "sour pop is a cute name for my site, i wounder if somebody has it?". I got home and logged into my site, i looked and looked for days (about a week) and checked if somebody else had it. luckyly i didnt find nobody just some lonely music site, but the had it as sour pop music only. so i just decided to add avenue on it. that word was kinda long and it was gonna make my name be longer than it is, so i just went with "sour pop ave". and that just became my official site name.

in those times having a myspace layout site was like the shit, if you didnt have over 5k friends, you're nothing. (i dont even know who came up with that.lol) so i started making my "whore" code. i started supporting with sites on my "level". once in a while a "bigger" site would support with me. i was like that for a while til i got around 15k. then i stopped! i realize that whats the whole point in doing that, bigger sites than me with over 30k didnt even have talent! (and they still dont). my dad had bought me photoshop for feb.07. so i just started focusing on that and building up my skills. i didnt even support alot, only once in a while. one day my computer just crashed down. i literally freakd cause i didnt even save anything i had made. my dad took me to get my computer fixed and it was like brand new! a few days later i was gonna install my photoshop again! but ohh ohh! i realized that i had broken the cd. my room is a mess, i had stepped on it accidently, and i didnt realize til i was looking for it. i told my dad what happened, unfortunatly he was in a good mood, so he didnt even get mad. he just took me to the computer shop to get it installed, but i didnt get a new cd.lol heyyy, something is better that nothing, right? so blehhh, time passed and i decided to open my own domain, since freaking myspace kept on having too many troubleshoots. i talked to my dad about it, he sayed yess! i was so happy, he told me to look for a host and let him know when i find it. so i did, i got my site hosted with geocities. my site was officially opened on july 31 2007! i had no idea how to even start making my first layout. i remembered one of my site friends' had a site, nicollete from candierocks! i went to her for help. and she gladly helped me. thanks to her i started my first layout. my site took about two months to officially opened! i took everything from my blogs out, deleted them and passed them to the site. and ever since my site has been a great hit.
